Our Mission Statement.....

Inclusive-Solutions (Midlands) Ltd is a company that seeks to work for and with children and young people. This includes, their schools, their families and any other agency that has a positive vested interest in the child.

Our aim is to identify, minimise, and in some cases eradicate barriers that get in the way of a child or young person reaching their potential.

Drawing on 15 years of experience gained whilst working in primary and secondary schools, churches, youth agencies and local communities, we are committed to being creative and solution focused in our approach. We also recognise that to do so means working in the often-challenging complex situations that young people, their schools, and their families find themselves in.

Our corporate philosophy is one of 'Seeking first to understand before being understood' (Covey 1999). Our belief is that there is no point taking a single perspective or approach in supporting a child or young person, as all perspectives have some validity, and can in part contribute to the solution.

Inclusive-Solutions is committed to helping young people maximize their potential and in so doing help prevent, fix term or permanent exclusions, disaffection and or disengagement.

We believe that all challenging behaviour is ONLY an attempt to get needs met, therefore getting to the root of the need and meeting this may be as good a place as any to start.

Types of Interventions

Sometimes young peoples behaviour can be entrenched. This often requires a more intense intervention in helping the young person get to the root of this historical way of behaving. We are able to design bespoke courses for individuals, which seek to reengage and empower the young person towards the change they desire and one which will lead them to reaching their potential.

Accredited Bushcraft Courses

Young people with challenging behaviour are often described by their schools as 'under achievers' they appear disengaged and disaffected and their is often very little evidence to present to them to show their value and worth. Our residential Bushcraft Courses have been running for over three years and have engaged young people in a unique way.

Testimonials

Parents and teachers sometimes struggle to understand a young persons challenging behaviour, particularly when it appears so destructive and disempowering to all concerned. Our Behaviour Specialist work with and for the young person to help them identify their needs, and to equip them with the tools to find a more effective way to communicate and deal with the challenges they are faced with.
